Decline in Morris dancing

Published: 06/01/2009

THE fact that Morris dancing is in danger of dying out within 20 years will provoke a mixed response. Some will question how it can survive so long, while others will mourn its potential demise.

The problem, of course, is image. It is seen, mistakenly, as being English and involves bells and ribbons.
