Kate Moss: birthday bash

A PANOPLY of dead animals and other items was carted into Kate Moss’s house yesterday as she prepared for a spectacular 35th birthday celebration.

Men wearing butchers’ aprons were seen carrying a pig on a spit into the supermodel’s London home, while a deer’s head mounted on a plaque was lugged in by its antlers.

Another delivery brought a tiger skin with head intact and jaws gaping.

Davinia Taylor, the former Hollyoaks actress, was seen arriving at her friend Moss’s home in the run-up to the celebrations, clutching a centrepiece of stuffed birds.

A giant potted palm and an ornate wooden pew were also carried into the St John’s Wood property.

Guests including Sadie Frost and Sir Philip Green were expected to attend last night’s bash. The delivery of what appeared to be more than 200 cans of beer suggested a long guest list.

Three dozen red and pink roses were also carried in, and hairdresser James Brown arrived with a large suitcase. But Moss received an unwelcome birthday present as well – a parking ticket on her car outside.

She was photographed celebrating her pre-birthday bash on Thursday night at the Dorchester Hotel in London’s Park Lane. Moss spent her 34th birthday at Soho’s Punk club, with friends including Kelly Osbourne, Ronnie Wood and David Walliams.
