Mulgrew deliveries are a massive weapon for us

THAT'S another record broken, which is good, and the players deserve all the credit for contributing to a great game.

It was always going to be a difficult one for us against Celtic but I thought we did really well in the first half.

Aiden McGeady's moment of magic to set up the equaliser hurt us so soon after taking the lead but we came back strongly and I thought we deserved our half-time lead.

Celtic came back strongly in the second half and when they scored to make it 2-2 I thought they were going to run all over us. But we dug in and the third and fourth goals couldn't have come at a better time for us.

I thought the referee had disallowed the third goal but I was told afterwards he was going to give a penalty. His assistant overruled the decision and he gave the goal instead which I don't think Gordon Strachan or Garry Pendry were too happy about.

We benefited from some wonderful deliveries from Charlie Mulgrew. Celtic have a lot of big lads in their side but when Charlie shows that quality, it is a massive weapon for us. He whips the ball in at pace.

Charlie is only 22 and he has plenty of time to improve. The Rangers supporters will be very happy with us but, hopefully, they will be very angry again by this time next week.

We have taken a massive lift from this and we are third in the table which is a fantastic achievement. To be third after 22 games, when we were bottom earlier in the season, speaks volumes for the players' character.

I had 10,000 fans calling for my head at that time and the scars don't go away but I will enjoy this moment.
