Perth show team cock-a-hoop
The resurgence of interest in keeping chickens and ducks was confirmed in Perth at the weekend with a record entry of more than 3,000 exhibits at the Scottish National Poultry Show.
The event, held at the Perth Agricultural Centre, also drew hundreds of visitors from across the UK, with busloads of enthusiasts converging on the Fair City from as far away as Caithness and Sutherland and even the south of England.
Many of the prizewinners came from outside Scotland.
