CALEY Thistle registered their fourth pre-season win at Christie Park last night.
Spanish trialist Danny Sanchez (2), Shane Sutherland, Graeme Shinnie and Nick Ross scored for the visitors and Scott Garrett netted for Huntly.
A youthful Inverness side, which also featured trialists Daniel Stratford and Narius Bulvitis took the lead after just two minutes.
Sanchez fired in a right-foot effort from just inside the penalty area which beat Huntly goalkeeper Ross Bremner via his right-hand post.
Huntly deservedly levelled when forward Scott Garrett dispossessed Kevin Stewart and confidently shot past Kyle Allison a minute from half-time.
Sutherland headed beyond Huntly substitute goalkeeper Gavin Robertson on 55 minutes and left back Graeme Shinnie netted Caley Thistle's third four minutes later after a move involving Sanchez and Sutherland.
Sanchez scored his second from Dale Gillespie's cross seven minutes from time, Ross adding a fifth in 87 minutes.
Highland League new boys Turriff were given a lesson by Neil Cooper's Aberdeen under-19 squad, who ran out 4-1 winners at The Haughs.
Nicky Clark gave the Dons the perfect start with a drive inside the opening minute before Mitch Megginson converted a 27th penalty to make it two before Grant Noble pulled one back six minutes later.
A Nico Gibson header restored the visitors' two-goal advantage in 68 minutes before Jack Grimmer, who missed a spot kick with seventeen minutes remaining, completed the scoring in the final minute.
