GOALS from supersub Daniel Park in 62 and 89 minutes saw Caley Thistle set up a rematch of last season’s North Cup final with Nairn County.
Terry Butcher’s men took a deserved lead three minutes before the break when the lively Nick Ross made tracks down the right and delivered a cross which keeper Michael Gray could only tip into the path of Andy Barrowman, who volleyed home.
Wick levelled just before the hour mark when a challenge on Gary Weir saw the ball break into the path of Bryan McKiddie and his effort from the edge of the box found the back of the net with the aid of a deflection.
Inverness brought on Park on the hour mark and within two minutes he had put them back in front. Ross and Barrowman teamed up out wide for the former to cross and Park rose majestically to power a header into the bottom corner from 12 yards.
The scoring was completed in the final minute when Shane Sutherland intercepted a pass across the back and laid the ball into the path of Park who slotted home.
