A CAR burst into flames after a crash.
Police and fire crews were called to the scene of the two-car smash between Kemnay and Kintore.
The drivers of both cars involved in the crash escaped uninjured.
A Grampian Police spokesman said: “We were called by Grampian Fire and Rescue Service to attend a two-car collision on the B994 Kemnay to Kintore road near Cottown.
“It had been reported one of the cars had caught fire and was smoking from under the bonnet. There were no injuries.”
A Grampian Fire and Rescue Service spokeswoman said firefighters took around 15 minutes to extinguish the flames.
The crash on the B994 Kemnay to Kintore road near Cottown, which happened at 6.15pm yesterday, left the carriageway partially blocked.
Meanwhile, a Vauxhall Astra flipped on to its roof in a separate crash in Aberdeen.
The one-car accident happened on Scotstown Road in Aberdeen’s Bridge of Don at 7.30pm.
The driver was uninjured.
And another crash on Inverurie's Gordon Terrace at 8pm left the road blocked.
Grampian Police were called to the scene in Aberdeenshire and helped remove both cars from the area following the crash.
