Campaign to set up family support centre in Moray
Fochabers therapist says one generation project would provide lifelong assistance

A MORAY woman has launched a campaign to build a family support centre in Moray to try to tackle the problems of a dysfunctional society.
Ann Miller said the One Generation Project would provide families with lifelong support.
The 50-year-old complementary therapist from Westmorland Street, Fochabers, said: “Many parents today have been brought up with no nurturing or guidelines so how can they pass this on if they haven’t been taught? We spend millions trying to sort the problem when children are at school and are already starting to go off the rails.”
Ms Miller has joined fellow therapists Joy Constance and Janet Wilson with the aim of opening a centre in Moray.
Mrs Constance, 59, runs a private therapy practice and specialises in the health of women and children.
The Wrexham-based therapist said: “There is a large gap within family structures and within health care for families.”
Mrs Wilson is also based in Wrexham and works as a personal coach for the King’s Foundation charity which encourages children and young people to develop through sport.
To support the project with funding or premises, or for more information, phone Ms Miller on 01343 820352 or e-mail onegenerationproject@googlemail.com.
