Buckie ease to victory at Elgin

THE second round of matches in Division 1 of the Moray Superleague at Elgin’s Moray Leisure Centre produced four one-sided results.
Alan Campbell’s Buckie rink overran Donald Ross’s Sunninghill side 8-2. Andy Cameron’s Aberlour team delivered a 10-2 finish against Dave McPherson’s Elgin Tennis Club rink, Douglas Howie’s Elgin side beat Gordon Kennedy’s Ballindalloch team 11-2 and Graeme Govan’s Forres rink ran out 10-1 winners against Ryan MacKenzie’s Ballindalloch side.
Gavin Nicol’s Darnaway team established a 5-2 lead after four ends against Alastair Maltman’s Bank of Scotland rink, and traded shots thereafter to complete a 7-4 success.
