Jack wants to make it a Briggs too far for rivals

ELGIN City take on Forfar Athletic at Borough Briggs today, with Elgin manager Ross Jack challenging his players to break their winless home league run.
The Moray men have one of the best away records in the Third Division, claiming their third win on the road against Annan last week.
In stark contrast they have yet to record a victory in six attempts on home turf this term.
Jack said: “It is not as though we can’t win at home as we defeated Albion Rovers and Brechin City in the Challenge Cup.
“We have played well at home but I won’t be making an issue of it.
“We need to be positive and build on last Saturday’s great performance against Annan.
“We have been in this position before but from now on if we want to be in that pack in the middle of the table we can’t afford any more stupid mistakes at home.”
Jack anticipates a robust physical encounter against Forfar, who are five points ahead of Elgin in the table.
He added: “We know exactly what to expect from Dick Campbell’s team.
“Forfar are a big team, they will put us under pressure by putting the ball into the box and keeping the ball in the air for as long as possible.
Central defenders David Craig senior (knee) and Paul Kaczan (foot) are expected to miss the game through injury.
Forward Jason Crooks will return after recovering from an ankle injury.
David Craig junior (knee) and Craig Frizzell (ankle) will undergo late fitness tests for Elgin.
Forfar are fifth following their 2-1 defeat by East Stirling last weekend – and Loons manager Dick Campbell’s patience with his players is wearing thin.
He said: “It seems to be the same problem week-in, week-out and I just don't know what's wrong with them.
“I cannot believe how poor our defending has been.”
New keeper Bryn Halliwell is added to the squad for the trip to Moray.
