Wanderers and Grammar start season with wins

IN THE women’s North District Division 1 Granite City Wanderers 2nds and Grammar FPs got their indoor season off to a winning start against Hazlehead and Bon Accord MBC 2nds.

In Division 2 Grammar FPs 3rds convincingly beat their second team.

In the other match in Division 2 Bon Accord MBC 3rds beat Granite City Wanderers 3rds by the odd goal in three.

The annual pre-season tournament between the north’s three National League Division 2 teams resulted in Granite City Wanderers winning both their matches and Aberdeen Ladies beating Bon Accord MBC for second place.

In the outdoor game in Division 1, AIC Inverurie beat Grammar FPs to move to the top spot in the league.

In National League Division 3, Aberdeen Asset Management maintained their unbeaten record with a 2-1 victory against Stewart’s-Melville while Aberdeen University lost to Inverleith.
