Look out for an improved Rangers

KRIS Boyd will be on the bench for Rangers’ Champions League match against Germans Stuttgart at Ibrox tonight and I expect Walter Smith to send his team back to basics.

Heavy defeats in the competition have sent a dark shadow over Ibrox this season and both the supporters and the manager will be looking for a response. I would not be surprised if they get it.

I do not necessarily think Rangers will get the win they need to give themselves a chance of progressing or even dropping down to the Europa League, but I am sure there will be an improved display.
