Man jailed for attack on intruder

A businessman who fought off knife-wielding thugs threatening to kill his family was jailed for 30 months yesterday.

Munir Hussain and his wife and children returned from their mosque during Ramadan to find three intruders, wearing balaclavas, in their home.

He feared for their lives as their hands were tied and they were forced to crawl from room to room.
