Peterhead’s Gers loan player faces place fight
Peterhead have bagged Rangers midfielder Paul Emslie on loan until the end of the season – but the 21-year-old may have to wait for his debut.
Blue Toon manager Neale Cooper is delighted to have added the Aberdeen-born Scotland under-19 international to his squad, but has warned the player he faces a fight for a place.
As Peterhead prepare to face Dumbarton at Balmoor today, Cooper said: “Paul has good vision. His passing is very good and he is physically strong. With Dougie Cameron having left the club, we needed to strengthen the midfield again and Paul’s arrival has done that.
