CLACH moved up to 10th in the Highland League after overcoming a determined Brora side at Grant Street.
Clach forward Gordon Morrison claimed the only goal midway through the first period.
Brora goalkeeper Daniel Bell held on to a header from Lilywhites left back Scott Davidson from Blair Lawrie's corner.
The away side gradually came into the game, Mark Lamont firing narrowly wide with a low shot from John Cameron's lay-off.
Bell did well to parry Morrison's well struck free kick from 22 yards but the Clach centre forward opened the scoring in 33 minutes when he powerfully headed Andrew MacAskill's corner high into the net from close range.
Clach goalkeeper Murray Kinnaird made a great diving save to deny Scott MacAngus after the Brora central defender headed Gary Farquhar's corner goalbound five minutes after the break.
Referee Graham Fraser sent home defender Steven MacDonald off on the hour mark for an off the ball incident but Brora could not capitalise on the man advantage.
Morrison hit the bar with a curling free kick from 30 yards with 11 minutes left and was denied by Bell twice in the closing stages.
Andrew Neill hit the bar with Brora's last chance in added time.
