Hollywood beckons

New film is surely a poultry matter

WHEN Kay Ure set off from her home at Cape Wrath to buy a Christmas turkey in Inverness, little did she know that her path was leading to Hollywood.

Truth is stranger than fiction, as they say, and it was nearly a month before Kay was reunited with her husband as the weather closed in and made her immediate return impossible.

It captured the imagination of not just the public, but also a Hollywood producer who now wants to turn their story into a movie. Let’s hope the film isn’t a turkey.
