KCA promoting German language

The German consulate general in Edinburgh and Aberdeen-based oil and gas drilling contractor KCA Deutag have announced a competition to promote German language learning for pupils in Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire.
Together with the Goethe Institute and Aberdeen University, they are holding a German language competition with a week’s work experience for three winners at KCA Deutag’s offices at Bad Bentheim, as first prize.
Winners will be announced at a ceremony at Aberdeen University on Wednesday evening. During their trip, the pupils will stay with German families to learn more the country’s culture and traditions.
