SCOTTISH commercial-property agent FG Burnett has formed an alliance with SR-Commercial Property in Norway.
FG Burnett believes the link-up will benefit many Aberdeen oil, gas and energy-sector firms which have associated or subsidiary businesses operating in Norway.
SR-Commercial Property, based in Stavanger, is a division of Norwegian bank Sparebank 1 SR-Bank.
The alliance will support FG Burnett clients with property requirements in Norway and work in the same way for SR-Commercial Property’s clients who have business interests in Scotland.
FG Burnett managing director Angus MacCuish said: “Aberdeen traditionally has strong links to Norway, so this alliance is a great match for both our companies.
“Clients who have existing businesses or are looking to expand in Norway will be assured that we can call on the country’s leading commercial-property agency to provide the best and most up-to-date advice to suit their property requirements.”
SR-Commercial Property spokeswoman Marit Cecilie Albretsen said: “Aberdeen and Stavanger have long been known as the oil capitals of their respective countries and co-operation between the oil and energy companies in both cities is well established and has been very beneficial. So far, however, there has not been any form of alliance between commercial property companies in our cities and this is something which I think is long overdue.”
