Four killed as car is torn in two
A car which crashed into a tree, killing four people, was travelling so fast it was physically ripped in two, a witness claimed yesterday.
Four men from Hampshire died and a fifth was seriously injured when their car ploughed into a tree on the A4229 near Porthcawl, South Wales, on Thursday night.
The four fatalities were named last night as Tommy Marsh, 17, Tommy Elmes, 16, as Lewis Mackley, 19, and Danny Philbrow, 43, all from Portsmouth.
