Ardersier history captured on film

The history of a Highland community is being brought to life with a series of filmed interviews with older members of its community.

A number of elderly people at Ardersier, near Inverness, are taking part in the O4O (Older People for Older People) project, which is being partly-run by the village’s community council. Now a short film about the project has been posted on YouTube and the O4O and community council websites, and will be shown at a celebratory lunch on May 12 at Gun Lodge, Ardersier.

Community council chairman Sandy Devidge, who has been acting as cameraman, said: “We’ve done about 20 interviews so far and everyone is really enjoying it and finding it interesting.
