MERCURY Prize winning singer-songwriter Badly Drawn Boy is the latest artist to be confirmed for the Tartan Heart Festival at Belladrum this summer.
The star is best known for his album The Hour of Bewilderbeast and his soundtrack to the film, About A Boy.
The two-day festival takes place on the Belladrum Estate near Beauly on Friday, August 6 and Saturday, August 7.
Additional new acts named include 2010 Ivor Novello nominee Patch William; Glasgow’s 40 strong vocal group The Parsonage Choir; festival favourites The Dangleberries; Brooklyn folk singer Nels Andrews; rising local singer-songwriter Rachel Sermanni, and Edinburgh’s Alex Gardner. The festival, which sold out in advance last year, will also see the return of one of the Highland’s favourite bands, The Lush Rollers, making a comeback appearance.
Rounding up the batch of new announcements are Martin Stephenson, Joe Cassidy and the Bex Marshall Band.
These join Friday headliners Feeder and Glasgow’s Amy MacDonald, who headlines the Saturday night.

Advance tickets for the award-winning festival are priced at £85 for adults, which includes parking and camping, except for campervans and caravans which will be charged £25 per vehicle.
