KEMNAY man Stewart Morgan was put off the road for taking a car without permission and getting behind the wheel after drinking.
Morgan was banned from driving for a year and fined £800 after driving between Kemnay and Inverurie.
The 27-year-old grabbed a set of car keys from his house in Kemnay and took the car for a drive on May 15.
He drove the car on various roads between Kemnay and Inverurie when he was not insured before being caught by police.
Morgan, whose address was listed in court papers as 14 Station Road, Kemnay, admitted the offence at Aberdeen Sheriff Court.
Ellon’s David Penny was stripped of his driving licence after being caught driving almost double the legal limit.
The 23-year-old was spotted by police on the A90 Aberdeen to Peterhead road near Auchmacoy, Ellon, on June 12. He admitted the offence at Aberdeen Sheriff Court.
Penny, whose address was listed in court papers as 2 Morlich Avenue, Ellon, was banned from driving for a year and ordered to pay a £300 fine.
Ian McKenzie, 47, of Aberdeen, was put off the road until he faces sentence for driving when more than three times the legal limit next month.
A breath test revealed McKenzie, whose address was listed in court papers as 29 Deveron Road, Aberdeen, was under the influence of alcohol on February 25 last year.
He admitted the offence at Aberdeen Sheriff Court after being caught behind the wheel on Lintmill Terrace, Aberdeen.
