STEWART Milne Homes site manager Phillip Low is celebrating after winning the prestigious Pride in the Job Award from the National House-Building Council (NHBC) for the Leathan Mews development in Portlethen.
Judged via site visits over 12 months on elements including quality, health and safety, overall standards and management skills, Phillip and Leathan Mews have been recognised as one of the best in the industry by the UK’s standard setting body.
Phillip, who has been working with Stewart Milne Homes for more than five years, identified teamwork as the key to his success.
He said: “If it wasn’t for the impressive level of teamwork across the site, this award would not have been possible. Working closely with the site team and in partnership with our contractors is key and ensures that every detail of the site meets with company standards and is delivered to the highest quality.”
His consistent drive for quality has also seen Phillip achieve some of the company’s best customer satisfaction feedback from new homeowners.
Introduced by the NHBC in 1980 and celebrating its 30th birthday this year, the Pride in the Job Award is designed to recognise the very best site managers in the UK. The award is one of the most prestigious in the housebuilding industry and, over the years, has become synonymous with the high quality of new homes.
John Low, managing director for Stewart Milne Homes North Scotland, said: “We are delighted for Phillip and the team at Leathan Mews – this award is a real testament to the consistent quality delivered at the site. With his conscientious approach and attention to detail – reaffirmed with the NHBC’s prestigious Pride in the Job Award – Phillip is an asset to our team and presents an ideal example of our commitment to building quality into all of our homes.”
