Woman denies hitting three people with car

AN ALLEGED dangerous driver has denied hitting three people – including a 14-year-old girl – on a road.

Stephanie Douglas, 18, was alleged to have driven on the pavement towards pedestrians, causing her car to collide with the schoolgirl, who can’t be named, as well as Kris Cook and Jamie Donald.

Mr Donald was said to have been injured in the alleged incident on Aquithie Road, Kemnay, on April 7.

Douglas, whose address was listed in court papers as 2 Carnie Way, Elrick, did not appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court when the case called but denied the charges in a letter.

She is next set to face the allegations in January.
