Dual-carriageway finally approved for Aberdeen-Ellon bottleneck
PLANS to make improvements to a major north-east road bottleneck have finally been approved.
Transport Minister Keith Brown announced yesterday that a five-mile stretch of the A90 between Aberdeen and Ellon would be upgraded to dual-carriageway.
The work between Balmedie and Tipperty, expected to cost up to £76million, will be carried out in conjunction with building of the Aberdeen Western Peripheral Route, which has been del-ayed due to legal challenge.
