Law students have a ball

THE annual Aberdeen University Law Ball took place at the Marcliffe Hotel and Spa, Pitfodels, and was attended by almost 500 people.

A pre-dinner drinks reception was held in the hotel’s courtyard for committee members and guests, two of whom were Margaret Ross, head of the law school, and senior lecturer David Lessels.

The senior committee were piped to the top table by fourth year honours student Adam Brooks, who sparked enthusiastic crowd participation with his rendition of Flower of Scotland.
