North-east skipper feared boat might sink after collision

An Aberdeenshire skipper has described the moment he feared his trawler might sink in the middle of the North Sea after a collision with another vessel.

David Marr, from Peterhead, and a crew of five were 60 miles east of Shetland when the incident happened around 8pm on Wednesday.

The Peterhead-registered Rosemount, an 86ft fishing vessel, was involved in a collision with the Courageous III, another 85ft fishing trawler.
