Death crash driver, 70, was on way to funeral

A RETIRED haulier who died in a north-east crash was driving to a funeral when the accident happened, it emerged last night.

Gordon Stephen was behind the wheel of his black Subaru Tribeca when it was involved in a collision with a tractor on the A95 Keith-Banff road on Thursday morning.

Mr Stephen’s wife, Marion, 58, is believed to have been one of two women injured in the crash.
