Madonna has Scotland date during world tour

Madonna has announced she will play in Scotland for the first time this summer as part of her world tour.

The pop superstar will be at Edinburgh’s Murrayfield stadium on July 21 during the Madonna 2012 World Tour.

The Scottish capital is one of more than 20 European cities included in the tour, alongside shows in North and South America, Israel and Australia where Madonna has not performed for 20 years.

She married Guy Ritchie at Skibo Castle in Sutherland in 2000.

Their son Rocco was baptised at nearby Dornoch Cathedral, also in 2000.
