Moray bid to buy iconic lighthouse

A Moray business group has unveiled ambitious plans to buy an iconic lighthouse.

Members of the Lossie-mouth Business Association are keen to take over the Covesea Skerries structure “to preserve it for the community”.

A variety of uses have been suggested for the lighthouse, including using it as a heritage centre commemorating Lossie-mouth’s association with aviation and sailing.
