First session tackles trade

The second annual North East Business Week starts today with an event focused on the importance of international trade.

The week-long programme will begin with talks from experts at Lloyds Banking Group, who will discuss how to operate in markets across the world at the Scottish Council for Development and Industry (SCDI) business seminar.

The event – at Lloyds’ offices in Queens Road from 11.45am – will also cover the need to rebalance the UK economy.
