Strong: It’s easy to say ‘yes’ when Buckie ask you to stay

Buckie Thistle goalkeeper Darren Strong has signed a new three-year contract.

The 30-year-old Elgin police officer, who started his career with Elgin City before joining Wick Academy on loan, also had spells with Rothes and Keith before joining the Victoria Park club six years ago. Preparing for the weekend’s League Cup semi-final against Keith, Strong said: “When a club like Buckie asks you to re-sign it is a very easy decision to make.”
