‘I searched Arlene’s house on day she vanished’
A CLOSE friend of alleged murder victim Arlene Fraser searched the mother-of-two’s home on the day she disappeared, a court heard yesterday.
Michelle Scott had been due to meet Arlene for lunch – and went from room to room looking for the 33-year-old when she could not find her at home as expected.
She told the High Court in Edinburgh that she became concerned after Arlene failed to get in touch, despite leaving a note and repeated phone calls.
Office manager Mrs Scott was giving evidence on the third day of the murder trial against 53-year-old Nat Fraser.
