Police investigation after theft of 42 pigs

Police are investigating after dozens of pigs and tonnes of feed were stolen from a Highland farm owned by one of the world’s biggest meat production companies.
It is thought the 42 animals, valued at £60 each, and three tonnes of pig feed, were taken from the Novar Dairy farm, near the Skiach junction, Evanton, over the course of March.
The alarm was raised by an employee at the beginning of April.
