Devoted dad-of-two dies on Iraq business trip

A north-east father has died following a car crash in Iraq.

Gavin Arthur, from Ellon, was fatally injured when the car in which he was travelling in Basra was involved in a collision. He was on a business trip.

Tributes began to flood in yesterday for the 39-year-old, who was described as a “one-in-a-million” husband, father and friend.
