Spence looking to home in on Olympic Games place

Mhairi Spence will put her Olympic ambitions on the line at today’s modern pentathlon world championships in Rome spurred on by failing to make it to Beijing.

The world number five, from Farr, near Inverness, was left behind in 2008 despite achieving the qualifying standard.
