Celtic Games platform for potential Olympians

The eyes of the world will be on London on August 11 when the final day of the Olympic Games track and field programme takes place, but Aberdeen will be hosting its own international athletics fixture, which once featured GB athlete Lee McConnell, on the same day when a number of future Olympians may well be on show.
The Celtic Games, featuring 180 of the best young athletes from Scotland, Wales and Ireland will be held at the Chris Anderson track within Aberdeen Sports Village.
