Turner shows her class to lead way

Craigielaw’s Jane Turner repeated her opening 75 at Tain links yesterday to be the top seed among the 32 qualifiers for the match-play stages of the 98th Scottish women’s amateur golf championship.

Her aggregate of four-over-par 150 gave the 22-year-old Robert Gordon University student from Penicuik two shots to spare over the second best qualifier, Laura Murray (Alford) (79-73).
