Inquiry call over RAF base radiation concerns

The Scottish Government has called for a new investigation into radioactive contamination at a military base in Moray.

The Ministry of Defence has admitted that potentially harmful radiation in Scotland is spread much more widely than had been thought.

Radioactive particles had already been discovered at Dalgety Bay in Fife and more sites were also confirmed to have been found to be contaminated – including RAF Kinloss.
