Expo nets 2,500 visitors

Organisers of the Skipper Expo International fishing industry show in Aberdeen have hailed the event a success after welcoming more than 2,500 people.

Skippers, vessel owners, processors and many others from the industry were at Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre on Friday and Saturday to see the latest technology and meet suppliers.

Mara Media, which held its inaugural fishing expo in the Granite City last year, is already planning for the 2013 event.
