Flame lights the Highlands

Thousands of people are expected to turn out today for the Olympic torch’s journey through the Highlands.

A well-known Olympian is expected to carry the torch in Inverness – day 22 of the relay and the first of three days in the area.

Television presenter Jenny Falconer will also be in the Highlands to carry the flame and is expected to appear at the evening concert at the Northern Meeting Park.
