Passengers shocked as man, 52, killed by bus

A MORAY man died yesterday after being hit by a bus on one of the north-east’s busiest roads.

Graeme Innes from Keith was killed on the A96 between Aberdeen and Inverness when the Stagecoach vehicle struck him at around 11.20am. Mr Innes, 52, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The road was closed for about eight hours following the incident to allow officers to carry out investigations into the cause of the collision.
