Officials told to prove case for Scots ‘No’

UK Government officials have been told to pull together evidence that will prove why Scotland would be better off staying part of Britain.

Scottish Secretary Michael Moore said civil servants and academics would be working together to produce a series of studies which will show Scots the advantages of the UK.

The Press and Journal understands the first of about 12 detailed papers are expected to be published early next year.
