Woman, 75, killed in two-car horror crash

A WOMAN has died and two people are in hospital after a two-car crash in the Highlands.

The A828 Connel to Ballachulish road in Argyll was closed for several hours after the accident – which happened north of the Creagan Inn, Appin.

The woman’s grey Peugeot 207 – which was travelling towards Ballachulish – collided with a white Vauxhall Astra heading in the Oban direction at 3.30pm yesterday.
