‘Bullying’ claim in city gardens row

AN UNPRECEDENTED row broke out at the town house last night as two senior councillors clashed over the controversial City Garden Project.

SNP group leader Callum McCaig was told he will be forcibly removed from a top convener post if he does not withdraw a request for an emergency meeting on the issue.

Mr McCaig accused Labour group secretary Willie Young – who delivered the ultimatum – of “bullying” tactics. He insisted he will be making a complaint to the Scottish public standards commissioner.
