Dalai Lama fulfils a dream by singing Auld Lang Syne
The Dalai Lama fulfilled a long-held ambition by joining in a rousing rendition of Auld Lang Syne in Inverness, accompanied by hundreds of people.
His Holiness joined hands with children on stage at Eden Court Theatre for a spectacular climax to his visit to the Highland capital.
The whole of the auditorium – plus audiences watching a live stream of the event elsewhere in the building – also rose to their feet to sing.
