Police officer in child-porn case is too ill to face trial, says lawyer

A CHILD-porn case against a north-east police officer was yesterday shelved for a second time, sparking fears it will be two years old by the time it is heard.
Sergeant Neil Shand of Grampian Police was first accused of having indecent pictures of children at his home in Aberdeenshire in March last year.
And yesterday, more than a year later, his lawyer asked for the case to be halted a second time.
