Sex and the City hits Granite City

New York style is set to come to life at Aberdeen’s Bon Accord & St Nicholas shopping centres next weekend.

As part of a summer-long Fashion Capitals event, shoppers will have the chance to win an all-expenses paid trip to the Big Apple with an additional £500 spending money, simply by filling in a form in the centre.

Sex and the City fashion has turned the glamorous cosmopolitan-sipping stars of the show into small-screen style icons.

Fashion from the hit New York comedy drama has sparked raging trends across the globe. The fearlessly fashionable characters have led the way in uptown chic with their own unique styles

Cara Connell, fashion expert for Bon Accord & St Nicholas, said: “Floral prints, stiletto heels and designer hands have graced our screens creating a distinct style owned but the characters of the show.

“The seemingly thrown together ensembles of the cast have been the epitome of style for generations and now Bon we have the chance to show you how to recreate the look.

The roadshow events kick off on July 7 and 8 between 10am and 5pm on Saturdays and between 11am and 5pm on Sundays. Shoppers will also have the chance to win trips to London or Paris in August and September.
