Hundreds fail to pass the Brown test for new Dons blood

Craig Brown has rejected hundreds of trialists in his pursuit of players for next season at Aberdeen.

The Dons manager completed his first signing of the summer on Tuesday when Inverness midfielder Jonny Hayes signed a two-year contract with the club.

But Brown is resisting temptation to add to his squad, despite receiving offers for an overwhelming number of players.
