Keeper leading cheers for old friends

New Caley Thistle goalkeeper Antonio Reguero spent his career at Real Madrid in the shadow of Iker Casillas, but will be cheering his former rival on in European championship final for Spain tomorrow.

The 29-year-old began pre-season training with the Caley Jags yesterday after agreeing a one-year contract with the Highlanders.

His former team-mate is in Kiev in the Ukraine, preparing to face Mario Balotelli and Italy at the Olympic Stadium tomorrow night. Reguero trained with the Galacticos of Roberto Carlos, Luis Figo and Zinedine Zidane at the Bernabeu while with the world famous Spanish side.
